Great photo - very sensate. I can almost feel the paint on my hands! Great that you've been able to arrange that the students are able to be involved with the playgroup. The relationship between theory and practice is so much easier to discuss and to understand when they are experiencing the practice.
I agree! You also don't have to spend too much time planning contingencies as they usually happen! Lecturers are able to provide instant feedback and support which is very beneficial. They also have a debrief session with students after the playgroup to do some reflection on what went well and what could be done differently next time.
I got abit ahead of myself and published this without a description - sorry!
ReplyDeleteThis photo is of one of our students doing a painting activity with a child in playgroup.
That´s such a lovely activity to do with children. Most of the children love to paint with their hands!!
