Here is the other side of our foyer. The window to the left is actually a staff office. Once again you can see we try to use colour, smell and texture to show the students how they can make a child care service inviting and welcoming.
Sounds good. Environment is so important for children - for all of us really. What workplace learning do your students do? What work do you do with them before and after their work based learning to ensure a relationship between what they learn with you and what they learn in the workplace?
Can the students participate in creating the different learning/classrooms at your school?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! We really try to encourage this. It's a great way for them to try new things out before they start their workplace learning.
DeleteIt's also a good way for them to share ideas with eachother and see different ways of doing things.
That sounds very good!
